There are so many fish in the sea and it can be a little overwhelming to start to think about naming them, but fear not! In this course we will work with you to develop your knowledge and ability to recognise and identify common reef fish.
Teaching you to look for characteristics, both morphological (how they look) and behavioural, (how they act) which will let you confidently and competently classify and identify all kinds of fish next time you go snorkelling, diving or even when you watch you next nature documentary!
Understanding what you see will change your underwater experiences, understanding the complexity of our ‘reef cities’ the threats that they face and allow you to get even more from your time beneath the waves.

We will be on hand to give support through online session throughout the course and will schedule an revision session to review the key points of the course before you take the final exam, finishing the course with a one on one session with your experienced Instructor to review the course and address any questions.
